    Free Agents

Given that the only players we can now sign until January are unattached ones, are there any out there that could do a job?

    Right Backs....
Jordan Spence: Last club Ipswich. Played 17 games for them last season. 29 years old.
Danny Simpson: Last Club Leicester. Played 6 games for them last season 32 years old.

    Left Backs.....
Martin Olsson: Last club Swansea. Played 4 games for them last season. 31 years old.
James Meredith: Last club Millwall. Played 36 games for them last season. 31years old.

    Midfielders....
Birkir Bjarnason: Last Club Aston Villa. Played 17 games last season. 31 years old.
Lee Cattermole: Last Club Sunderland. Played 29 games last season. 31 years old.

Pretty slim pickings but an injury to Bennett or Ralls could leave us struggling for cover.

I'm not one for going back, but Ross McCormack would be worth a gamble as he is pure class on the pitch. And i think Ledley is a good player too. Neither is past it and both work bloody hard on the pitch so should pass the Warnock smell test

We always know when we've had a bad window when the following day someone lists the free agents available

Amazed that Cattermole is only 31. Seems to have been picking up cards for much longer.

Someone asked him to sign, he's replied:

I notice Adam Matthews is unattached and has been for a while - what’s the story there?

I'm a bit surprised he is that old because I can remember him being substituted after about half an hour at Villa Park in that England V Wales Under 21 play off match because Rambo was destroying him.

Ramsey scored an absolute stunner that night as well.
They beat us over the two legs but we played some great stuff and nearly pipped them to go through.

Fraizer Campbell too. Looks like he's joining Huddersfield.
