MKII Golf GTI project for sale

Very reluctant to sell but the lady who I'm renting the lock-up from needs her garage back due to a family addition.

It's got all the ingredients for a great project possibly father/son time etc.

The only way I'll be able to keep it is if I find storage within the next week or so. I've got the feelers out but who knows.

Those Mk I GTi's are quite highly prized now if someone can put the (huge) effort in. :-(

No it's not. The engine and gearbox has been done using quality parts.

There's nothing wrong with the car per se, it's just that the stuff that's off is because I've been saving for a respray.

It's basically an 1:1 Airfix model with a few goodies thrown in.
