I caught the last 25 minutes of last night's game. Probably between 8-9000 there [official 10,200], and Hull have only just stopped receiving parachute payments having had 3 promotions to the Premier League in the last 10yrs. I've always thought that Hull were a bit like City -capable of really decent support that can fall away quicker than most when the side isn't that successful or challenging for promotion.

I was also surprised how sharp Blackburn looked. I doubt they'll finish in the top 6 but they moved the ball quickly, always had a man to pass to, and seemed full of running right to the end. All this from a team of low-cost - but decent quality- British players, managed by a 'senior' British manager. I also thought Cunningham looked good, especially going forward...
