Robert Glatzel - How soon can we get rid of him?

    • Can't control the ball
    • Doesn't win headers
    • Slow
    • Finishes as well as Cornelius.

If he scores 10 goals this season, I'll buy everyone who replies to this thread a pint.

Bogle did more in 20 minutes.

I think there are some positives in Glatzel's game but there were certainly moments today where he fluffed his lines when he ought to better.

Bogle impressed me, put a shift in, was physical and made himself a nuisance in amongst their defence. Was unlucky with his well hit free kick. Wonder is Warnock will chance starting him on Saturday?

To be honest I'm only really replying for the potential of a pint.

Bogle looks really good every time he plays - must be close to starting.

I would say that Bogle will defifinitely start after tonight.

It's a lot easier coming off the bench to play against a tired defence.

Not really true. Sometimes it's much harder to find your way into a game coming on as a sub.

Tomlin seems to think Glatzel is a decent player,
Bogle still has a lot to prove.
He was a least 10 yards off the pace when Hoillet scored.

Would not be surprised to see Bogle start. Glatzo probably needs resting as does Whyte and bloody Bacuna.

WTF, needs resting? We're only four games in to the season, they can't be knackered yet. By all means drop them from the starting 11 if they aren't good enough but don't pretend they need a rest.

Anyway, I thought Whyte was OK tonight.

Whyte was at fault for their goal and gave the ball away even more than Murphy. However, he did win it back a lot as well.

Resting? You need to do something before you rest. In the old days they called it being dropped.

How long do we keep saying he just needs a goal? Will we persist with him like Albion seem to be doing with Zohore? I think it’s only fair he has a rest after 2 games in the space of 4 days and Bogle is given a chance with Whyte also being rested for Vassell. We don’t want Glatzel becoming the German Johnson!

Zohore was on the bench tonight although scred a penalty-apparently.

How much did we pay for him?

Thought he did ok with little support at Reading. Too early to judge him but I have faith.

Bit soon to judge but why not eh. I'll reply anyway just in case.

You've got as much chance of collecting your pint as the OP has of getting to 25 posts.

Hope Tomlin has a run of games and not back on the bench for Saturday
