Thread: Madine

  1. #1

    Madine

After starting the opening game at Wigan, he's been nowhere to be seen. With Glatzel and Vassell as the newcomers, Bogle showing promising signs and Danny Ward also on the scene, is he on his way out to a L1 team or to Scotland, or is he just injured?

    Re: Madine

Think we would have at least seen him on the bench for one of our last three matches if he wasn't injured, but maybe I'm wrong in believing that.

I hope I never see him in a City shirt again!

There’s talk of him going back to Bolton but they can’t promise he will get into the side.

Shocked at the hate on here for Madine.

Puts in a shift every game. Not saying he’s any good but by Christ we should support our players

People support every City player, but when it is obvious that they aren't good enough (as it was with Madine pretty much from the very start) then we have every right to say so, just as we commend good players.

And running around a lot is the very LEAST that a professional footballer should do, and so hardly a good measure of a footballers usefulness.

Obviously Gary Madine isn't working out here, but I wonder whether that could have been different if he'd had more support.
Unfortunately ,youngsters demand instant gratification for their often unrealistic demands and if they don't get it they become angry.

I'm sad to see that they've already started on Glatzel.

    Don't think he's injured Bob.

    Here you go, grandad: https://www.gov.uk/winter-fuel-payment

It could come in handy when you're sitting on front of your electric fire, reminiscing about the blitz.

I don’t like to see the Gary Madine stick on here, but it is clear that he isn’t happy, is not what we need and is surplus to requirements.

Is he seriously going to get into the squad ahead of Glatzel, Vassel or Bogle? Danny Ward is more versatile and mobile, and seems more content with his role than Madine.

Madine needs to move on for his own sake and ours. A mistake - but they happen.

Fortunately I'm quite comfortable thank you . What a pity you have such disrespect for the elderly and those who endured WW2.

No mate, it's you that I have no respect for - thinking that you're superior to others just because you were born before the invention of flight.

That list of strikers isn’t going to strike fear into any defence is it?

How come he doesn't know what you think, but you know what he would or would not understand?

Firstly because he's not a mind reader, and secondly he'd have to know a lot of stuff which he doesn't and have an IQ level which I know he doesn't - How do I know that ? It's because I DO have the required IQ and stored knowledge to analyse it from his posts.

I'm sure you won't like that answer, and it'll send some people here nuts but it's accurate I'm afraid. It's also so frank that it'd ordinarily be a bit rude, but he's in that nasty little group here who have no manners themselves, ( see his posts above), so he doesn't get the benefit of diplomacy or polite avoidance of reality.

I think you're mistaken. I think it's more likely that you could determine someone's frame of mind from what they post than the level of their intelligence. How do you measure intelligence anyway? There's far more to it than IQ.

Your posting is a cut above the generally disappointing garbage here, and I thank you for restoring my faith ,( or lingering hope anyway) , that anyone under about 50 can still think for themselves, and I'll add to this tomorrow , God willing.
I don't have a high enough IQ to debate him, but he previously said this to me in response to something I'd said and never actually followed through with a further response to the post this correlates to as he couldn't argue with what I'd said.

He's just a self-righteous dickhead and should always be treated as such.

Yeah, well that's when I was trying to be polite and encourage you to a bit of original thought and expression. I'd always do that when speaking to a youngster. Unfortunately you've demonstrated that you can't learn anything from me or anyone else because you already know everything. Even then I'd be polite, except that you've proved to be a foul mouthed aggressive lout, and so you don't get a free pass any more.

Your specialisation in post analysis seemed to have failed when you didn't notice this post was dripping with sarcasm
