    Best catch of its kind I've seen.

    Would never see a catch like that "back in the day", although I accept that there are cameras everywhere these days.
    Modern day fielders are athletes.

    That said there were one or two decent fielders from the 70s/80s, Derek Randall being one. He often got the call for England, even when struggling with the bat, because of his ability fielding.

    I remember many outfielders though were so out of shape/immobile.

    Remember Colin Milburn, only had one eye as well after an accident. He was carrying some timber.
