The last CCMB Christmas party was akin to a wake. More laughs would be had in a dentist's waiting room. After some initial handshakes and exchange of pleasantries everyone begun to stare gloomily into their pint pots or into empty space between glancing at their watches. The mood descended further upon Sludge's arrival. His "let's talk about titties" suggestion drew sighs and groans and his monologue praising Liverpool FC was met with hostility as he droned on and on.
