    Security Cameras for house

    Looking to get some fitted back and front of house. Haven’t got a clue where to start or how much I need to pay. Any advice please?

    Avoid the DIY sheds, Screwfix etc and get some cameras with the appropriate focal length and positioning

    He hasn't got a clue, how will he know what is the appropriate focal length and positioning?

    Keep away from the eBay specials they’re completely rubbish. Go for HIK Vison probably one of the best on the market. Go for a proper company to fit them for you. If you want a good system you need to pay good money.

    Thanks for your reply. Have just been quoted 5mp motkip detection cameras with a 40m infrared range viewed on mobile phone £575 fitted. Is that reasonable?

    If it’s HIK then it’s not a bad price, if it’s Swan to keep away from it.

    Go for it, that’s a good system to go for. As most things in life you only get what you pay for.
