    My ideal would probably be:

    Wales
    Finland
    Turkey
    Bulgaria

Isn’t the next Nations League based on the teams who got promoted and relegated in the last Nations League? Rather than current rankings.

    Re: Nations League 2020

I like the nations league in principal.
The issue with it this time is there will be no golden egg to aim for.

I know that is likely to change for the next world cup in 2024 with the increase in teams. I imagine they let 2 teams qualify for world cup by winning nations league in the top 2 divisions.

The issue i have is if you are in group c might be worth throwing a game to get relegated and effectively make qualifying for next euro's much easier. Unless group d no longer will have a space for qualifying.

I just find the qualifying processes quite long and tedious but can understand why.

I hadnt realised they had altered the current format and i can understand why its been done as makes better games being played between top teams..however i feel the better players already play enough games without adding more.
Also its unlikely the weaker nations will be playing as much and therefore less likely allowing them to improve as they arent going to be able to attract friendly games from.other continents.

It is clear that Giggs awful results. I won't list them... Have dropped us into league B. Had we been in league A where we were comfortably 2 years ago our qualification path would have be easier. Like Ingerlunds will be.
    What a disaster.

Some of the top players we had 2 years ago have not matched that quality and got older or retired , its now a young team in transition, in my view we miss the workhorses like Ashley ,Gunter , Ledley ,King ,Kanu , Vaughan ,Taylor ,Collins ,Cotterill who provided a platform for the skills of Ramsey , Bale ,Allen to prosper .

And lets be brutally honest we over achieved in those Euro's

I think you will see the league sizes have been changed.
