    Possession stats

We all know that Possession does not necessarily win games but when was the last league game when we equalled the opposition in possession?

Very surprised that we were on equal footing with Hull yesterday.

Possession stats are bollocks anyway - just ignore them.

It would be interesting to see the possession stats for our games against Pulis while he was at Middlesbrough.

    2017/18

When Garry Monk was in charge - Middlesbrough 0-1 Cardiff City (59%:41%)
When Tony Pulis was in charge - Cardiff City 1-0 Middlesbrough (49.8%:50.2%)

The Pulis stats make perfect sense. I'd love to see how much time the ball spent off the floor for the entire game compared to other championship fixtures.

There aren't any stats covering this, though St John's ambulance had to come to the rescue of 5 pigeons and a seagull.

Interesting to see before and after with Pulis. At Boro, they enjoyed 59% the game before he took over. His first match in charge saw Boro with 45% possession.

Even more stark are our possession stats. At Burton, the game before Warnock took over, we had 58% possession. In Warnock's first game we had just under 40%.
