    Awful game lacking in quality.
The ref (Friend) is as bad as the teams!

Goes to show as a striker you need to put the ball in the net even if the whistle goes. Just in case

In this case, the ref didn't blow until the ball was on its way into the net.
Had he blown when the lino stupidly raised his flag, then the goal would have to be disallowed as defenders would argue that they 'played to the whistle'and stopped defending even if theydidn't/couldn't actually ntervene.

There was a man United corner maybe half way through 2nd half where James had kicked it against his own foot, replays showed this clearly.

From the corner they had a free header and he should have scored. Would this have been ruled out?

As much as I'm not a fan of var, if it's in use and you have people watching in real time should there be a reason why they can't communicate with the ref to say its a goal kick fairly immediately. I understand its not used for this at present but seems silly.

They spend minutes doing dot to dot for the mm offside but clear mistakes like that continue. It didn't result in a goal directly but changed the pattern of play from there on which may have resulted in a goal later.

Not a fan of VAR at all but they had one look and could see he was miles on, so no complaints.
