Your a very silly man, whose envious chip on the shoulder politics, will always see you just having a dig at someone or someting that is positive .

I find it astonishing you use this board to just flush out your socialist bitterness , this is a football message board , try and mix up your posts with some positive subject matter, try commenting on some of the nicer stories lines on the footy sections , instead of your cowardly sly keyboard digs.

I doubt you are a real City fan , just a sad political troll with little to do but moan and groan from the safety of your keyboard. .

I'd love to know what you think I have said on here that could be considered socialist in nature. You have a history of just making these things up.

Rory Stewart is an archetypal upper class twit. Everything about him is ludicrous and beyond parody. He was even given a commission in the Black Watch during his school holidays. I keep being reminded of that scene in Being There where the black woman says it sure is a white man's world.

Even with the current state of the Tory and Labour parties, I can't imagine anyone running as an independent winning the job.

Rory Stewart has been basking in the role of a liberal Tory outsider during the leadership election and after - and he does come across as mostly coherent and willing to defy the party orthodoxy. But he has never been challenged or examined in a serious way, as he would be if he ran for Mayor.

There is a bit of the Nick Clegg about him. He clearly enjoyed the media attention and his 'meet me in the park' stunts, much as Clegg got carried away with Cleggmania in the run up to the 2010 election. But it doesn't last!

I have to ask, what is a "centre ground" politician these days? There is a quote by left-leaning pundit, Jon Lis who reminded us that: "Stewart supported every pinch of Tory austerity, fully embraced May’s Brexit deal, and wanted to end free movement. As leader he’d have been ridiculed 20 years ago as hardline figure of the right." Rory Stewart is a Tory through and through and politically probably more right-wing than David Cameron, although they share a presentation style. Is presentation style enough? Sadiq Khan is politically more of the centre ground, especially for London, than Rory Stewart and equally so in presentation style.

    Again....

Ms Allen told The Independent the Tory Party no longer offered a home for MPs from its centrist tradition
Austerity is not of the centre ground and yet every Tory joining the Lib Dems would have voted for it. Regardless, what sets the Lib Dems apart is that they're fiercely European and socially liberal. How can the Lib Dems welcome someone who, according to "They Work For You", generally voted against a right to remain for EU nationals already in living in the UK, generally voted against UK membership of the EU, almost always voted against a lower voting age and consistently voted for requiring the mass retention of information about communications? What happens when the Tories see the value in being centre-right again? Ms Allen's politics is obviously not very Lib Dem so does she jump ship again?

Heidi Allen can share her fond memories of voting for austerity with Jo Swinson - who did the same.... enthusiastically!

Actually he's not really. He seems very affable and reasonable in pre written speeches and public events, but in private he's quite a nasty little ****er. His history is as a local councilor in London so you might think he'd be ideal for London Mayor, but I think they know him too well there to vote for him.
