If this is the cost of Cardiff alone ,what cost the total cost are for taxpayers across the UK

Just to be clear, that includes the UHW site at the Heath where many of the medical staff are practicing doctors earning consultants wages.

I'd be very surprised if there were more than a 50 non-medical academics earning that sort of money.
