    Re: Boxing.

Respect any fighter who gets inside the ropes but surely Prices friends and family got to get him to hang up the gloves for his own sake.

Seems a nice guy but it’s pitiful watching him at this level.

He said when Parker pulled out he’d organise an opponent at the same level. Then he ends up filling the bout with David Price ffs.

I remember Calzaghe pulled out of a fight in Cardiff and Frank Warren had the audacity to replace it with Danny Williams and Skelton ffs the scamming twat

Not really smart arse. Plenty of heavyweight fights go the distance. It was obvious this one wouldn’t though.

    Strongly fancy Taylor in this.

Stevie Wonder could see that fight was only going to end 1 way.

From reading this forum for years, I know that JRH has a gambling problem.

What a horrible thing to say to someone!

Not even i could lose betting against David Price. Shame you choose to take a bit of light sparring to a personal level. Thought you were made of sterner stuff.

He’s a big boy. He can dish out the shit, so I’m sure he can take it.

Why don't we produce boxers with the skill of the American boxers?

Taylor has been brilliant on a European level but he's hanging in there really tonight.

You very rarely see a British boxer with the footwork and style of a typical American boxer.

Calzaghe’s footwork was one of his many attributes in my opinion.
Selby as well is very adept until he loses focus.

What a tremendous fight. Referee has hardly had to do anything

I agree with you on those two but they are few and far between.

But even Calzaghe at his best was no Sugar Ray, Meldrick Taylor, Floyd Mayweather etc when it came to style.

Naseem Hamed is probably the closest we've got to that type of fighter in this country (until he fought Barrera)

Taylor is winning the fight in my opinion.

Are you being serious? Taylor is matching him in every department, including speed style and footwork.

I think Taylor has dominated the second half of the fight being the bigger man. It's been man against boy but when I wrote it was the 3rd round (as you know) and the American looked far more smooth.

I'm obviously talking generally about the other fighters I mentioned!

Calzaghe was one of the best switch hitters the sport has ever seen.

Top fight that. Has Andy Clarke been on the piss all night. Prograis by 4! He was scoring the same in the Selby fight. Bizarre.
