Thread: Joe Rodon

    Joe Rodon

Saw he came off yesterday injured.

Any chance he’ll be out for next Sunday ?

He’s looked good playing for Wales and they seem a bit thin on the ground at centre half down West

This is an example of why this fixture is going to be a nightmare: why would we want a young Welsh player to miss a game through injury?

Because it's against us and he's half decent.

Exactly - I’d prioritise a win in the derby over a Wales team that’s unlikely to qualify

Because it's one game and he would be playing for Swansea against Cardiff. Wales haven't got a game for 4 weeks. Don't get your knickers in a twist.

If Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey played for Swansea, would you want them to be fit for the Cardiff game?

Yeah you wouldn't catch a jack saying stuff like that about a City player..........oh, hang on.

Swear there are some right fannies amongst our fans.

One game against us. In fact, as he plays for them I really wouldn't care if he missed most matches apart from a couple before the Wales games, would still be more matches for his club than others we pick.

Then hopefully based on his Wales performances another club takes a punt on him.

Cooper says he's unsure if Rodon will be fit for Sunday

The backup options are a 19 year old on loan from Watford or a 19 year old Cardiff boy (the irony)

Why do we have to make that choice? The Welsh national team may qualify and we may beat the Jacks, with their full 11 out, as well. Alternatively, we could go back to days where City fans are singing "you're too scared to follow Wales" and it all becomes a bit wank again.
