The SDLP spoke to sinn Fein soon after Corbyn had spoken to them, even they realised that dialogue was the only way.

Do we know if he did or didn't speak to them?

More to the point, why is this more important than the Labour manifesto?

    Spot on
What about that video of Dominic Cummings where he very specifically says that the Tories don't care about poor people or the NHS? That's not a fantasy, it's right here:

It's also plainly obvious if you ever read any of their manifestos

Where, in my post did I say it was?

I'll respond to the first part of your post later.

I see the king of whataboutism has arrived. Why do you respond to any criticism of your precious tories by slagging of Corbyn? Normal people don't support a political party like a football team like you do.

They are not my "precious" tories as you put it. I have voted for them but I have voted
Liberal Lib Dem and ( admittedly only at a local level because I knew the candidate) Labour in the past.

Someone made a point about Corbyn that disagree with.

    Aren't I allowed to comment?

And note I haven't jumped to defend Boris.

I reckognise his many flaws, they are often indefensible.

Both main parties have deserted the centre ground and both have things about them I find unpalatable.

How am I supporting the Tories as if they were a football team

    Pray tell

You didn't. It's blatantly clear that the Tories strategy for keeping Labour at arms length is to attack Corbyn. Never before has a political leader been smeared and lied about by the predominantly right wing press. Labour's brand of mild socialism scares the establishment and most wealthy, hence why Corbyn is the source of the attacks. The Tories know that Labour's policies are more popular - they can't attack them on that.

So back to my question. Is this more important than Labour's manifesto?

Yes but Corbyn is a communist. Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser. Corbyn is the anti Christ and eats babies for tea.
Never before has any U.K. politician been demonised in the way he has. It is disgusting
Sadly too many believe the gutter press and it has badly damaged him.

I'm not a political person, but the only reason the Tories are in government is because Labour have a class 1 tw@t in charge ...and for Wales Drakeford fkn clown - M4 Newport Bypass road and all that

As you know Pearcey3 from years ago on an old rugger site that i'm no supporter of NuLabour [although Corbyn himself is old Labour, Parliamentary Labour is full of what I call Red Tories] but I would be the first to say that the press, plus disingenuous opponents of Labour and possibly some shady foreign powers that don't want Corbyn as Prime Minister are all doing a number on him.
I remember Labour doing a number on my team Plaid [ive always treated my politics like supporting a sports team] for years and years accusing them of all sorts of disingenuous sh*t and in my view damaging them at the polls, but two wrongs don't make a right and its not nice to see the way Corbyn is treated, obviously Plaid being the nicey nice party don't get involved in that nonsense.

    They couldn't make a film.

    The plot was too complicated

Why do you refer to Corbyn as that?

    It's ok Eric.

    I've taken my strong medicament.

    I'm ok now

It’s appalling and the BBC are compliant in all of this. Shame that rugby messageboard ended. It was a good site.

I went to see the film yesterday. It doesn't make easy viewing, but is excellent nevertheless. The film is very hard hitting and just about sums up Boris' Britain. Ken Loach with his finger on the pulse, as always,

I think we’ll all agree to disagree. Corbyn’s brand of Marxist socialism has never worked anywhere at any time in history - latest example, the aforementioned Venezuela, and when we have one of his cronies declaring that ‘Britain should not have any billionaires’ you know you’re in the politics-of-envy territory - big time. It’s not what I would ever want for this country and it’s certainly not what I’d ever want to experience, especially at my time of life. And I doubt any of you would either.
The top 1% of earners in this country pay roughly 28% of our taxes. Are they going to stick around if Madman McDonnell moves into no. 11? This country is one of the best in the world to live in, even with all our problems, that’s why people risk and lose their lives to get here to live and work. Corby and co would destroy it. They won’t get the chance, if the polls are correct, and I hope to God they are.

Of course it's fair enough if you want to vote for whichever party but it's the wilful sensationalism and outrage that feeds your thinking that doesn't do anyone any good. If you don't think Corbyn's numbers add up then fine, but what "Marxist socialist" policy is going to drag us under?

I'm not envious of someone with a billion pounds; I just find it baffling - why would anyone need that kind of cash? It's like having a three foot old boy - kind of impressive in a way but it's just for show and not much use to anyone else. Job creation? Most of them horde it and it's not good to give just the few that responsibility. (Besides, consumers create jobs).

Your whole post seems panicky, but why wouldn't it when we see our own PM using his old employer (the Telegraph) to compare Labour's tax rise for the rich as the equivalent of Stalin. But he comes up with this bullshit cos it works.
