People are selfish, people who vote tory even more so.

Hypothetically speaking had Corbyn, not Blair been Prime Minister perhaps there wouldn’t have been so many grieving relatives of British soldiers. Corbyn stuck to his beliefs, didn’t piss off and form another party like other shithouses have who couldn’t get their own way. He toughed it out, stuck to his beliefs and eventually became leader. Only thing I’d pull him up on is his reluctance to back ‘Remain’ 100%, which pisses me off.
Thing is with the EU is that corbyn sees it as a Neo Liberal project that supported austerity, he campaigned to stay in the EU back in 2016 on a remain and Reform ticket. It's a difficult one for him as plenty of the people who voted out are from the poorest parts of the UK who have seen industry and jobs decimated, in turn, plenty of desperate people thought that their lack of opportunity was because of immigration (Bingo-the poor blaming the poor) not because of the government inducing Austerity and the decision backed by the EU, add to that shithouse bosses employing cheap Labour with zero working conditions. Corbyn can't really alienate these people by throwing his hat in with remain, in my opinion, he does have to be pragmatic. The problem he has is that alot of his support and the rise in membership because of him are from the middle classes. They may not even be that political but want a fairer society for all with opportunity for everyone, i believe that these people haven't been effected as badly by austerity and EU policies. It's a difficult one for him.

Unfortunately the scummy right wing press did a number on Corbyn and were allowed to get away with it aided and abetted by a pathetic BBC.
It disgusts me when I hear of Corbyn being labelled as a terrorist sympathiser. If he is one what the hell does that make Thatcher, Blair, Brown, Cameron, May and Johnson?

We live in a country with the most right wing press in Europe. It is hugely influential. It goes unchallenged and it’s narrative is often followed by the BBC.

In time Johnson and his rotten party will be found out as they were in 1997 but not before they cause even more damage to our health service and education as well as our standing in the world. We will continue to see more homeless on our streets and more people using food banks because the Tories just don’t care.

Well said, especially about the BBC who backhandedly discredited Corbyn at any given opportunity,Aided by that smug arsehole Laura Kuenssberg.

She doesn’t even try to hide it either, BBC impartiality my arse! I’m sure she got pulled up for once for it previously in relation to Corbyn but that hasn’t changed her ways!

And? Are you against those wealthy earners paying taxes so that the average person can be healthy and be educated?

I have no idea what this thread is all about as I’ve skipped past all the bullshit, but one thing I do notice is that you are one of the first to raise apparent outrage at the merest sign of ‘incorrectness’ yet you throw the word ‘Tory’ around as some kind of sectarian slur. Why is that?

Because anyone who is a tory is a ****, hope that helps mate.

It isn't like being gay or black or a woman it is a choice they've made and in my eyes it makes them a **** so I don't see anything wrong with calling them a ****.

If you’ve skipped through all the bullshit and have no idea what this thread is all about how do you know it’s utterly pathetic?

Based it largely on the contributors. Some, not all. If the cap fits though 👍

“ Corbyn and Labour are peddling the politics of resentment, painting a Fantasy Island vision of Britain as a Dickensian wasteland, full of cartoon Conservative villains in top hats, lighting big cigars with wads of £50 notes and pitchforking babies, while they deliberately poison the rivers and set fire to schools and hospitals.

Labour’s manifesto is like something from a Momentum version of the Beano. Soak the rich, stop the cuts, for the many not the few. Someone change the record. I can’t take six weeks of this drivel.” Richard Littlejohn
