I'd have quite liked to line up against Bristol with a spine of Flint, Tomlin and Reid just to piss them off

Problem is with so many of their ex players in our side now will we end up just like them, flattering to deceive and ultimately failing to reach the play offs, which they have been specialists at doing for quite a few seasons now!

They moaned when Flint left for Boro and a lot of their fans rate Pack ,Id say we have done well by them and it must irritate them we can buy them at will , I should imagine Sundays game will be a big showcase trail for a lot of them , especially if they want better themselves and to move to a bigger club with a real seaside and castle

I’m not saying they aren’t good players, I don’t dislike any of them. But barring Reid I don’t think they’ve sold us anyone they wanted to keep.

The one player I have been gutted went to Cardiff was Bobby.

Flint - Past his best now and his Boro days seems to have knocked the stuffing out of him.

Pack - Superb professional and lovely bloke. Needed a change.

Tomlin - ****ing waster. At every club.

Reid - This I will never get.
You could basically explain to me for the next 12 hours why it was a good decision to ship him to Fulham and I’ll still say at the end “don’t ****ing get it.”

Nobody on this board will tell you it was a good idea. He’s a talented player who Warnock was unable to get the best out of.

I remember there being a meltdown on their forums when we signed him, and many on our side being over the moon

It was a dreadful idea to send him to Fulham, I guess he was too good at football for Colin

Bobby Reid was the only Brizzle player I wanted here - and said so on threads about them in the season before he arrived. It is a massive shame that he wanted to move on and the club then let him. I'm not sure about the sale after loan deal either - can see that falling through if it is just an option rather than a contractual requirement.

Flint is on a downward curve and too similar to Mozzer.

Pack is OK - but I think Warnock has over-hyped him. He's not a Gunnar replacement and Joe Ralls has been much, much better (even allowing for the injury absence).

Tomlin is clearly talented (and I have been nervous about him in an opposition line up since Peterborough) but will probably never be fit enough and he relly pissed me off when he dived to get Whitts yellow carded a few years back (I remember these things!)

The Tomlin we had on loan from AFCB and the Tomlin we signed permanently you wouldn’t think was the same bloke.
