    Remembrance Sunday.

With Sunday's Severnside Derby taking place on Remembrance Sunday, we shall be hosting a tribute of honour in memory of the fallen.

The teams will be led out with a Guard of Honour. A wreath will then be laid by Warrant Officer Class Two, Dan Cope & Corporal Lloyd Banks from 21 Signal Regiment on behalf of both Football Clubs.

Sgt Sam Potts of the Welsh Guards Corps of Drums will play the Last Post before kick-off. Please then join us in a period of silence as we remember those who have suffered and lost their lives. The silence will start and end on the referee’s whistle.

If you wish to support the Royal British Legion, limited edition specially commissioned badges are available from Cardiff City Superstore and online at Cardiff City Superstore for a minimum donation of £3

All funds raised from the sale of the pin badges is donated to the Royal British Legion.

The Royal British Legion’s work is encapsulated in its motto: Live On – To the memory of the fallen and the future of the living. The Legion is the nation’s biggest Armed Forces charity providing care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present and their families.

Not sure many people young or old can comprehend just what our forefathers endured fighting for their country and our freedom.

Concur with the above, here's hoping that respect is shown by there being no trouble win lose or draw.

    Remembrance Sunday is so important.
    Lest we forget.
