Surprised that he's persisting with Etheridge.

Would like to see Madine and Vaulks play well. Would be like having 2 new signings.

Looks like he has been, with NML on the other side.

Looks like a hoof it away performance for me, observation not a criticism before my fan club pipe up.

Easier it to rock the boat as the new guy isn’t it.

Strange team selection. He's dropped the captain and prefers Paterson to Tomlin or Vaulks in midfield .
It's not clear to me what he's trying to do , but I'm hoping he's found some brilliant new formula. He's a knowledgeable young man so perhaps he's spotted some dimension which I've missed.
I'm thinking that he's intending to bring Tomlin and Murphy for the last half an hour, but whatever it is, it's certainly interesting.

A 4-4-2 in my opinion, Paterson and Madine upfront...
    Who’d have thunk it!

Yeah definitely looks like a 4411 (which is similar to 4231 I suppose) with a 2 man midfield.

( Not hard to spot with the players listed )

Morrison still doesn’t look fit, not playing games in a few weeks now. Tomlin and Vaulks are liabilities.
Tomlin adds creativity but exposes our two other midfielders meaning there are large gaps in midfield.
Vaulks, the less said about him the better really. He isn’t up to our standard it seems.

Murphy only has the first 45 minutes of a home game in him, and will look like a wet blanket.

    I’m excited though :)

    Probably a 4-4-1-1 (or 4-4-2 will a man dropping off) transitioning, a 4-2-3-1 defending, and a 4-3-3 attacking

    Paterson in.....so....

...did he and Warlock have a falling out?

Often wondered why he wasn't being played when he was in the squad and one of the first names on the team sheet in previous seasons - even allowing for his new overweight or toned profile.

Adam Matthews at right back for them today.

Also Deji Oshilja in midfield too.

Just hope we do away with our full backs man marking and being drawn into midfield.
