Thread: Corbyn He used to be indecisive. Now he is not too sure

Corbyn He used to be indecisive. Now he is not too sure

I likened the Labour manifesto to Christmas in another thread.

Now with Jeremy Corbyn saying he will be neutral as regards Brexit has April Fools day come early?

As opposed to Boris who has told so many lies they have a website in his name ?

What would you prefer a bloke who is a bit indecisive or a liar , to be running the country ?

Typical Tory shit. They throw their toys out of the pram when there's a better manifesto and leader than theirs. They don't like getting beat, do they?

It is not just his indeciseness though Sludge.

We are not blest with good leaders in any party.

And I do not dispute what you say about Boris

What is wrong with a PM adopting a neutral position during a referendum?

Why do.people insist on readings things into posts which aren't there. Or use unnecessary crudity

I am not "throwing my toys out of the pram"

I don't think Corbyn is a better leader than Boris. And I have many misgivings about our current PM

And I think.their manifesto is a bit of a wish list.

As I am bored of saying now I have voted for all the main parties except for Plaid and obviously SNP.

I am not a card carrying Tory. They are not my party. (Voting for a party does not mean they are your party in the same sense as being a member of that party)

I think corbyns worst mistake was appointing that bloke as shadow chancellor , I am a lefty and even I cringe everytime he opens his gob, it's like he's reading out of an A level economics text book

Answering a question with a question suggests you can't find a way to answer.

    I can't see inside Corbyn's brain.

My guess is the neutral stance is the only option for a man who is a Brexiteer at heart , sitting in a party whose shadow cabinet and MP's are remain and an electorate who are badly split between remain or leave.

Its a gamble , and the utterance of another referendum is almost mind numbing .

If he wins negotiations will be easy for the EU.

I liked Boris's summing up on this today. This is how it went:

Imagine the scenario: Corbyn wins the election and goes to Brussels with his alternative Brexit plan. Remember he is "neutral" with regards the plan. He meets Barnier who politely asks to see the details of his new plan. Having scanned through it he turns to Corbyn:

Barnier: Monsieur Corbyn do you fully support this plan?

Corbyn: Monsieur Barnier I cannot comment on the plan as I am remaining neutral.

Barnier: Monsieur Corbyn: do Monsieur McDonald and Madame Abbott and the rest of your cabinet support this plan?

Corbyn: Er, actually no, they are promoting remain.

The outcome is pretty predictable, laughable if it were not so serious.

Anyone else notice that Corbyn is never, or hardly ever, referred to as Jeremy, but Johnson becomes Boris with great regularity, as this thread demonstrates? It's because the media have long humanised the posh oaf, and so the easily conditioned fell for it.

I recall when all workers were just workers. Then along came the 2010 General Election when Tory spin doctors categorised them as hard workers over and over again until those who are manipulated with ease begun to parrot them. Today I know of seven people who often big themselves up as hard workers or hard-working to boost their ego and because they're too dim to realise the phrase was designed to further divide those in the middle and bottom rungs of society. Amusingly, five of those seven are career desk jockeys who I somehow doubt have ever sweated or performed eight hours worth of physical labour in a single day.

Excellent diversion from the thread topic - are you a politician?!

Spot on Organ I detest that phrase. It infers people who may be retired or disabled for example are worthless pieces of shit. Tory brainwashing at its finest.

As both one of the apparently "easily conditioned" and also worthless pieces of sh** (being retired) can I just say that some of us who occasionally use the word Boris instead of Johnson or Boris Johnson are actually recognising that he comes over as a posh oaf! It has just the right slightly contemptuous ring about it.
