Do a fantastic job helping the homeless and badly housed giving advice on rent arrears , dealing with landlords , helping people get on the waiting list , benefits , women fleeing domestic violence and a lot more

Shelter Wales main office is in Swansea but they have advice surgeries in Bridgend , Barry , Cardiff , Newport , the valleys etc

Just £ 80 could provide the legal advice needed to keep a family with a roof over their head this Christmas

Shelter, although not entirely losing their way have definitely lost some of their focus.

They're a long way from the organisation that set up after 'Cathy Come Home' caused so much concern.

Mind the mental health charity now run courses on behalf of the health boards in many areas , delivering counselling on the cheap , in return for funding

There used to be a superb local resource centre which mind ran and served a rural area that had no other facilities , its moved to a much smaller premises , above a shop
