Thread: Watford Sack Another Manager

They aren't good enough. Since being at man City Hughes has done poorly at Stoke, West brom, Southampton and qpr and would have relegated all 4 of them if he wasn't sacked before he could.

Pulis did an unbelievable job at Stoke but since he has had a shocker bar one good season at Palace. He wasted a ton of money at boro and couldn't get them up while playing unwatchable football.

These are facts, if they weren't Welsh they wouldn't even be on your radar.

Mark Hughes finished top ten three seasons in a row with Stoke, 2013-2016, with each one their best season since 1974-75 and their best run of finishes since 1934-1937 seasons. However, was hardly impressive at Southampton and was always far too expensive for us. Tony Pulis, I agree, hasn't done anything impressive since that season at Crystal Palace in 2013-2014, and yet some Stoke fans were still willing to welcome him back after Nathan Jones was sacked.

I've seen this thread title on this site three days in a row and not sure if it's a new thread each day or the same one.

What happened in Hughes last season at Stoke.

Pulis's biggest weakness was even when he was doing well he'd get to 40 points and then his side would be on holiday for the rest of the season. He never wanted to achieve anything more than survival most seasons.

Hughes definitely has done well and I'd prefer him over pulis any day of the week. He did a great job at Fulham until he knew villa wanted him. But he's definitely done terribly at a few places recently.
