Mark Hughes finished top ten three seasons in a row with Stoke, 2013-2016, with each one their best season since 1974-75 and their best run of finishes since 1934-1937 seasons. However, was hardly impressive at Southampton and was always far too expensive for us. Tony Pulis, I agree, hasn't done anything impressive since that season at Crystal Palace in 2013-2014, and yet some Stoke fans were still willing to welcome him back after Nathan Jones was sacked.
