Great stuff!
Loads of it though. Not the greatest quality in terms of the pitch or skill, but these were different times.

Home 'movies' taken from Canton stand. A few City goals, a handball shout [no VAR], a City forward pinching a yard or two taking a free kick. Big crowds, shocking pitch later on, hard, no grass. City finished 4th in 2nd Division..

Enjoyed that.
Massive crowds, the ball looked so heavy, that it's understandable that they had brain injuries when they were older.
Give me a marching band to that bloody light show any day of the week.
Fascinating stuff. Pretty sure the opening sequence is of City v Spurs played on 3rd September 1949.
The teams that day were:
City: Joslin, Lever, Sherwood, Glyn Williams, Montgomery, Baker, Hollyman, Roley Williams, Best, Stevenson, Edwards.
Spurs: Ditchburn, Ramsey, Withers, Nicholson, Clarke, Burgess, Walters, Bennett, Duquemin, Baily, Medley.
Spurs won 1-0 and went on to win promotion that season and then became champions the following year.
That side were my granddads heroes.
Local lads that took City all the way to the top division.
Lots of Welsh Internationals too
A much more innocent time- would prefer that to what we have now
