Checked wiki and it seems you're correct. He didn't take chester out of the league, infact, he did a decent job there with a very dodgy owner and actually paid some of Chester's bills.

Well that’s a lesson for me,to check things out not just repeat what I’m told 😂. He did leave at the start of the season they went down, so can hardly be blamed for that.
I did find this when I was checking it out mind

    😕
However his comments about us whilst he lived in Nottingham were very disrespectful and left a bad taste in the mouth after the brilliant season we’d just had

Probably thought he could get away with it and didn’t realise there were a few of us fans up there.

I thought the same as you where Chester and Ratcliffe were concerned.

I work with loads of lazy people, I wouldn’t grass them up to the office and see them out of work though.

I do believe you, I have no reason not to. What makes you think that I don't?

Maybe so, but the game has changed a lot since he played. Its like Souness on Sky, fantastic player but its like hes talking about a different sport sometimes.

Listening to Souness,s audiobook at the moment . He doesnt seem to think modern footballers would have laced the boots of the Liverpool teams he was in.
Just in case you arent sure he says it in practically every page .

I dont think they would have liked some of his challenges

I remember he nearly decapitated an Aberdeen player and then complained that he had been fouled

Terrific player though. Had the lot.

    Your memory needs updating !!

He played a few games after we got promoted, the most notable of these was at Fulham, where scuffles broke out in the stands, as the police shut the away turnstiles, and told some City fans to go in the home area.

As the players left the pitch, Radcliffe looked at the fans behind the goal and called them “ARSEHOLES” !!!

Very nice without knowing the facts behind the troubles.
Not sure how long he stayed after that, but it wasn’t long
