    Sprouts Yes/No. ?

Crimbo dinner, IMO isn't crimbo dinner without sprouts, Garden peas are a popular veg but they don't do it for me.

I hate sprouts. Put it down to my dad saying when I was a kid that I’d never get curly hair unless I ate them all up.

Depends how they're cooked. Boiled to a pulp, no thanks.

I like them stir-fried with onion, carrots and pancetta with balsamic vinegar. It's a pain in the arse to prepare though.

I’ll have them at Xmas without fail.

I’d have them through the year but I forget.

Like said, not boiled to a pulp though.

My mother was a bit of a grim cook, she’d start boiling the cabbage on a Thursday for Sunday dinner

Ditto re boiled to a pulp.
That is my childhood nightmare, overboiled sprouts stinking the whole house.

    ?Par=boild, then stir-fried with some chopped bacon,cranberries, chestnuts(pre-roasted) , lovely.
If you REALLY want to impress, add some orange zest and a pinch of mixed herbs. Mmmmm

Yes, yes and yes. I actually like them shredded raw in a salad. Nicer than boiled until they are sludge. Sorry Sludge.

My nan used to say, and I kid you not, 'Don't pick your nose, have a biscuit'.

We used to have roast beef every Sunday. Cooked through, grey and tough. Boiled (and boiled) veg. The roast spuds and Yorkshire pudding were good though.
