Facebook , its bollocks really isn't it ?

I mean how can someone have 6000 friends ?

    What a load of cobblers

I have got 84 and most of them I have never heard of

Where do these people come from ?

Most of them are house burglers just waiting for you to post your holiday photos.

It's mostly bollocks, and has become a very dangerous tool for some ****ed-up peple and organizations. However, but it's a nice way to keep in touch with real people from your life. Someone should invent a Friendsbook with out the ads and the memes and the bollocks.

Facebook's full of cranks. It's a measure of bad things are when the most well-rounded users are dildo waving lesbians.

Dropped it years ago. Total waste of time. Saw an old mate today who ive not seen for years. Had a few beers and talked about whats been going on in our lives because we hadnt seen it already on Facebook. Id far rather just speak to my actual mates (however infrequently) than broadcast to them on Facebook

Came off it two years ago and don’t miss it one bit. I realise I’m not as up to date with things as I could be, and I think it’s great for keeping in touch with long distance relatives and friends. But the cons outweigh the pros imo. I can always ask a friend to contact someone for me if I need to.

The only social I use is twitter and I love it, it’s so funny.

its great for staying in touch with people around the world, but i dont really need to see what you are having for tea, so i unfollow them, if i feel the need to see what Aussie Steve is upto, i click on his name and have a nosey

also great for specialist groups ( like my daughters football / netball / swimming groups ) i also use it to post KO times / arrange lifts / announce teams etc etc for the girls U12 team i coach

so my timeline only has stuff i want to see, its fairly easy to unfollow people and things you dont want to see, it works well for me

If you have 5 proper mates in life you are doing fine. My wife has about 500 and I love to take the piss as she can’t tell me what half of them do or who they are etc....if you have over 2000 your just a t@#t

Most people I know tend to use it for selling their business rather than chatting, whats app has that sorted now, another Facebook really

I've never been tempted to go on Facebook, the thought of people who i don't care about, knowing my business repulses me. I think that a bit of mystery surrounding a person is much more intriguing and interesting when you cross paths. Let's be honest, it's a load of Narcissistic shit.
