Fear factor of playing at home - everyone expects you to win ?

We're better suited to the counter attack?

The difference in the way the opposition sets up at home and away has much to do with it.
    It's not just about us.

This. The above sides were happy with a point and set up well organised and happy to frustrate and slow the game down

Our home record is way better than our away record, so it's hardly as if we can do nothing right at Cardiff City Stadium. In fact, we have the third best home record in the division and the two teams who have got more points than us (Fulham and Preston) have both played thirteen times at home, compared to our twelve. On the other hand, only Preston of the teams above us have got less away points than us and there are five sides below us with more away points, so let's not go over the top about our away form.

We do tend to grind things out at home and we are the fourth highest away scorers, but only Luton have conceded more away goals than us, so we have not been getting full reward for the goals we've scored away from home, whereas our home goals against record (fifth best in the league) tends to ensure we do get this for goals scored at home.
