O/T -Laptop Advice

Bought a new laptop yesterday and everything is hunky dory and working fine apart my headphones. They are the beat type headphones with a jack plug in type not wireless .

had a nose on the web regarding such issues and have done all the usual checks and still no joy

any of you pc savvy lot give me any suggestions to make my headphones work !

You need to shout a bit louder his headphones don't work

Head to your Control Panel, and click Hardware and Sound > Sound. Then click Manage Audio Devices. If the headphones icon is shown, simply set the option as your default sound option. If the icon is missing, it may be a sign that your computer is missing drivers or that your headphones are out of order.
