We rolled over against Palace and weren't good enough at Fulham and Burnley, its also highly unlikely that we'd have won at Old Trafford if we needed anything from the game

Someone should remind him that we got away with a Bamba off side goal at home to Brighton. He does have a very selective memory to go with his very unique view of games judging by his usual post match comments. We got relegated for more than just that Chelsea game!

Maybe, maybe not. If that goal hadnt been awarded theres nothing to say they wouldnt have forced an equaliser, or how the rest of the season would have panned out.

Excuses, no matter how valid sometimes, are a shit way out, especially when so much of it was in his own hands with time to go in the season.

He can ramble about the players having it stuffed out of them all he wants, he still made shocking team decisions the remainder of the season.

Players, fans, pundits, managers talk about momentum in football so that sort of loss could have had more of an impact than poor selection against Fulham. You could make the counter point that there is nothing like perceived injustice to galvanise and inspire, but I reckon we'd had enough of trying to turn negatives into positives that year so that once more probably was asking too much.

But Warnock has left us with a poor squad this year so easier to talk about last year than this summer for him.

Talking about THAT Chelsea goal - didn't realise that the other time that Warnock got fined was when he was outspoken when another of his teams was robbed against Chelsea and the ref was the same one!
