Every thread i click on on this site i get the accept cookies page flash up.
It's driving me insane any help on how i stop it from happening?
There are browser addons to prevent this:
Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...knhalnja?hl=en
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...about-cookies/
..and presumably other browsers..
Mobile versions of Chrome don’t support add-ons, but you CAN get rid of accept cookies message by using Firefox or Opera on mobile.
You'd think a single one off request would suffice.
Bloody GDPR, another European Legislation.
I don't get it on this site. I get it from other European sites like newspapers etc. I have no problem with it. I'd rather be asked for something and be aware than just have it taken from me without my knowledge or consent.
I tried to join the Weight Watchers on line group and the first question they asked was do you accept cookies. I thought you devious bastards and logged off.
The accept cookies thing on this site is a fecking nightmare.!!!!
I only have to accept cookies after I have cleaned my history and have to login
I dont get cookies on mobile laptop and desktop perhaps it is because i have addblocker plus on all three units
No. It only happens when I open the site. There must be something wrong if you're getting them clicking on an internal link.
Sites I have already opened and keep open at all times like this one and the Guardian I never see it. I'll get it for example if I click to link to WalesOnline. But only once.
This has been happening for a month or so. I have complained directly to the 'boss' who told me he had contacted, I think, footymad who control the site and they said nothing was amiss.
There clearly is, this constant pop up is making this brilliant MB almost unusable.
Mike sort it out please!
Not MM fault...it is GDPR. Do I I said in an earlier post and they will not appear. I NEVER get them.
Are you sufre you cleared your cokies/cache??? before adding the extensions?
