Early start for the Jacks on Sunday

7.45am departure from the Liberty. Sharp. Which means they got to get there 7.15 really.

    4.45hrs for 43 miles.

Facial recognition. All a bit silly really, eh?

    It is stupid isn't it

Ok so we know a restriction free trip is a thing of the past but surely south wales police can transfer 2000 travelling fans by coach quicker than this ? It's a farce

They know no one will be travelling by train , they have exact numbers , get them , or us , on that motorway and let the drivers step on the gas ff sake

Haven’t they got to be at the services by 9-9:30 wait for ticket exchange and then be escorted to the ground by 11

Truly ridiculous state of affairs. I’ve no idea why city fans or jacks pay for this privilege.

It’s no wonder the derby has lost its lustre, the away fans are jet lagged!

I don't believe there would be much trouble if the police treated like a normal game, apart from a little spat here and there.

Times have changed and I think it would be mainly handbags from both sides.

I'm getting the train from Port Talbot.

I agree. Bristol City was a bubble. 12 months later it wasn’t and I was walking to Ashton Gate from the car having a little chat to a home fan.

Yeah and furthermore, I had one of those smart meters installed on Monday by a Jack and although he said he hasn't got a ticket, he said he'd have no qualms about taking his boy without police protection if he did manage to get a ticket.

The whole football topic came about when I made him a brew in one of the mugs I bought from the club shop years ago, which is when he admitted he was Jack. He finished his cuppa and we had a laugh about it.

I made sure he sealed the gas connections up properly though!
