Did the real fly 'oop North', or did they bus it?

Wouldnt have fancied flying in that wind today.
On the other hand, a very long haul, then back to Brum on Saturday.

Not cross winds when you're landing, had a not very pleasant experience landing in Bristol a few years back.

saw the team bus on the link rd today heading away from CCS.

    About 2pm.

Could have been starting the long haul to Carlisle or taking them to the airport but a look at the departures board showed no obvious flight to that area. If it was a private charter then it would not have been displayed.

sorry to not have an answer

Are they allowed to use private chartered planes?

Normally they fly with Eastern Airlines. Guess too short notice to arrange as I can find no trace of a flight.
Lot of travelling this week. Perhaps they will stop off near Brum on the way back for a couple of days.

I imagine if they drive they'd just stay in Birmingham on the way back. No point going Cardiff-Carlisle-Cardiff-Birmingham-Cardiff
