It's a well known person who has written books on Cardiff City, and recently left the club's employ.

If that's the case then it's someone who left the Club's employ, and if the stories are true, with a significant degree of justified embitterment and disillusion after many years service.

Actually, this is far from the case. Because of the hard work put in by the Trust with senior club officials over the last few weeks the vast majority of the important items in the auction have been preserved for the benefit of the club, it’s fans and the wider Cardiff community

I think there were three lots of pre War bound volumes of programmes which went for stupid money. £2000+ each!!! The reason being they were the years we played Chelsea and there are two Chelsea collectors out there who bid against each other and really do not like each They pay big money too. I hope a lot of it has been bought by the club and hope to see some of it come back home. After all it was theirs in the first place.

Yes but why did they have to pay so much for the stuff when it was Cardiff City's in the first place. I cannot believe it was given away in the past.

Didn’t Paul McCartney have a similar situation but on a much, much bigger financial scale?
