Andrea Ferretti - the one that got away

I spent most of my waking hours wondering how Ferretti got on after not doing much for us. This was a striker recommended to us by Sir Alex Ferguson - yes, thanks for that. A bit like getting a recommendation that a lighter is good for removing anal hair.

Anyway, how did Ferretti do? He's still playing, aged 33. He's been a bit of a yo-yo player, hovering between Serie C and Serie D. Since leaving Parma he's been given 9 free transfers. His best record was at Pavia, where for a season he was managed by Benito Carbone. His last 4 seasons have seen him finally nail down opportunities in Serie C, netting an impressive 16 goals in 105 appearances. He has yet to be ever present in a season and he's never spent more than 2 seasons at a club.
