This is reminiscent of an excellent Flemish-language TV series I watched last year (either on BBC Four or via Channel 4's Walter Presents section). The drama took place in the centre of Antwerp, which had to be walled off by the authorities and those inside the cordon were paranoid of letting friends and families into their houses and building lest they carried the virus.
