I was on the sick last week and as often do when I have a cold, fancied a ruby. I dropped $100 on Indian take-out. Admittedly, it was for me and the Mrs and it lasted two days, but I'm praying she doesn't find out.

I can remember getting a chicken Madras, rice, dahl and cabbage for $5.45. Simpler times. What happened?

Pretty much. The vegetable curry I got for the Mrs was basically chopped French beans in curry sauce. The Lamb vinda was OK. The onion bhagi was especially good though. And they're sort of rare over here. I just looked over the order again. $20 of it was tax and tip.

    1 Garlic Naan $4.95
    1 Tandoori Assorted Appetizers $8.95
    1 Vegetarian Assorted Appetizers $7.95
    1 Vegetable Jal Frozi $9.95
    1 Alo Gobhi Matar $9.95
    1 Lamb Vindaloo $12.95
    1 Onion Bhajia $3.95
    1 Garlic Naan $4.95
    1 Achar $2.95
    1 Dahi Bhalla $3.50
