Thread: Going to do something and immediately forgetting

Going to do something and immediately forgetting

    Happens a lot. Anyone else?

Like I'll think "I'll phone x about y" get out the shower and stand there for too long thinking about what I planned to do.

Good example, started to write this thread out then gave my old dear a lift into town and only noticed I hadn't posted when I came back on to see if delme still wanted a scrap.

At that age? At a conservative guess I'd say you've got 15 years on me. Not my time 😂

You wrote that as if it’s some badge of honour yet you post on here and get into slanging matches with a bunch of geriatrics. Despite the fact that you perceive everyone as being ancient you’re still the most prolific poster on here.

Get a life... most of the rest of us have seen and done things that you should be playing catch up on. There’s even a side benefit for all other posters

You're overthinking it. At a guess the bloke is 50+ whats the harm pointing that out in the context of the post? If I upset you lad, ignore me, stop upsetting yourself further by interacting with me.

Lives in Canada with Jamaican somewhere in the family, rings a bell that one.

I qualify for seniors ST next year😁 or😐 depending on how you look at it. I think a misspent youth accounts for quite a number of synapses no longer fully functioning.

I noticed one of my elderly neighbours the other day. He was continually knocking on his own door, then walking round the back of his house, going in, then opening the front door.
I don’t think he knew what he was letting himself in for!!

Check the front of your shirt for gravy stains or maybe the tea towel is still tucked in your cravat :)

All the time. I'll be in the shower and I can't remember whether or not I've washed my hair?
