Would we really have any of them, back bearing in mind there behaviour / output for us, and in some cases value for money of those who did we deem to have higher kill levels , such as Reid and Zohores transfer fee and wages. .

He scored 10 goals for a poor Bolton side in half a season before he signed for us.

Since the Chropa / Bothroyd era we seem to be a strikers graveyard, ALF was an excellent championship striker and did ok in the PL till he came to us, even ACorn went to last year’s World Cup.

Is it us / the system that is the issue?

I think our lack of creativity, movement off the ball and poor midfield doesn't help. That's why someone like Paterson is most effective in our line up, where we bypass midfield often as it isn't a creative source of many goals from open play.
