And before anyone starts banging on about how Ramsey should have started, he was a 17 year old kid then who although showed flashes of his talent, was nowhere near the player he'd become. Also it's not like he brought him on in the 85th minute

Ramsey without doubt should have started and should already have been a league regular.

I have one that size, of an ex-Cardiff Devils player.

It used to hang from the WNIR, when the Devils played in town. It’s from circa 2005.

I was friendly with the player, and he said he’d be interested when it came down (he’d gone back to live in Canada).

I won it at auction, boxed it up, and messaged him the postage was something like £50 to send.

He went quiet, and it’s been sat boxed up in my garage for over 13 years :(

I can't honestly remember him running anybody ragged that season, in fact I've just checked and he played 90 mins 8 times, didn't come off the bench 9 times and wasn't even in the squad 21 times. He scored 2 goals and got 3 assists in all competitions.

Not ragging Rambo, he's one of my favourite players but I've always felt there's a bit of history rewriting when it comes to his potential influence on the FA Cup final

I know with hindsight and all that it's easy to say but I just think that DJ always went with the names.

He did bring a lot of good players here, Chops and Jay to name just two, but he did invariably blow it in the big games.

Many were calling for Jones to play Ramsey more but it fell on deaf ears.
Fowler's and JFH's legs had already gone by the time they came to us and apart from the odd game or two, were a luxury.

I remember him replacing Mcphail in the line up at home due to Mcphail missing the game for a reason i cant remember. He was superb and the team was much better with the change.

That change should have been permanent but no back came Mcphail next game.
