Kirk Douglas , Paths Of Glory , The horror of war , his finest hour

    https://youtu.be/0gyyGHHXfck

    Generals gathered in their masses

Just like witches at black masses

    Evil minds that plot destruction

    Sorcerer of deaths construction

In the fields the bodies burning

Still the war machine keeps turning

    Death and hatred to mankind

    Poisoning their brainwashed minds

    Oh lord yeah

I beg to differ , the darkness of treachery , war and self serving elites , together with some fantastic work by Stanley Kubrick make this one of the greatest films of all time

I am not unfamiliar with the above ditty having seen Sabbath as far back as the early seventies and having a few of their gramophone records. However, it was just a few weeks ago that something occurred to me for the first time: the first two lines don't really rhyme as the same word is used twice.

    Rant over.

The greatest songs are written by people totally off their face on drugs , I can forgive them the first two lines as the song itself is the greatest song ever written
