    iii) pre-game and in-game injuries

Whatever the reason, it seemed that the Irish defence was able to shut us down bar maybe two or three half opportunities. Disappointing but a bit of a rest now to work on what needs to be worked on before next game.
The weather was poor but even factoring in that the kicking by wales was very poor , it was a ball up your jumper day today but they couldn't even get that right

Yes, especially as most of them play in these types of conditions every week.

It always used to be home then away, alternate games.

The Irish are quite a formidable team at home and they have had a huge advantage IMHO.
It's a similar case with France at home again tomorrow after beating England at home last week
Dont think its been alternate home then away since it became the 6 nations. Not sure its possible to arrange the fixtures that way anymore.

I think you mean 'Seven' haha unless the river has seriously flooded.

Wales were totally outclassed today and the backs were pretty dire and made lots of handling errors.

Ireland's record in World Cups gives you the true story of their abilities - they're over rated.

They were there for the taking after their nervy win last week, but Wales started so poorly and allowed Ireland to build momentum, we showed more inventiveness than under Gatland and scored a classy first try, but we were way below Gatland standards when it came to the physical confrontation.

    Missing Shaun Edwards.

This is what the panel were saying with respect to the tries conceded.
The Shaun Edwards factor will become clearer at the end of the tournament.

After yesterday's performances it's a difficult call who wins it.

England have won the world cup and reached the last final

    Are they over rated ?

    Do you mean underrated?

Think the two following quotes show what we're looking at over next couple of years:

26 minutes of poor rugby. 1 of minute almost perfect rugby. Wales in the lead. Welcome to the Pivac era.

Wales made 16 offloads today. That’s a pretty radical change. It’s going to take time for the Pivac-Jones attacking game-plan to bed in, as it did at the Scarlets. It’s worth showing patience with. But, in the mean time, the defence needs to be better.

We'll have to wait and see but I fear that Wales have aimed to become a successful version of what Scotland have been doing over past couple of years whereas Ireland yesterday showed what we could have been with Shaun Edwards as head coach, and were much better for it. Four years is a long time and ultimately it will be the next World Cup that says which 6 Nations team has got new appointment right.
