Radio commentary couldn't see anything wrong with it.

If it had been given against us, we would have had a right moan, blue tinted glasses I thought it was good and the pen against us was a shocker 7 from 9 is good but disappointing today.

Nothing wrong with our goal at all. We had a better view in the Canton than the ref and it was legitimate, 100%.

    Looks like Tomlin impeded Marshall.

Exactly this, you could tell by the reaction of the Barnsley players they thought we'd won it with seonds to go. Worst referee this season by some distance.

    Fair play to Barnsley.

Wigan players looked a bit disappointed too.

Thought their pen was incredibly harsh. The pull for our pen appeal was nailed on!

Ward should at least have hit the target with his chance.

This and the huddle before a game thing are 2 weird things to moan about. 7 from 9.

Ward on for Glatzel again. So it wasn't others said it might be, Glatzel seems to be out of favour, strange as he wasn't playing badly and looked decent when we kept it down. Also scored a goal you wouldn't expect from Paterson in the Reading game whichij thought would have lifted his confidence, so to then be basically third choice? What's that telling him? Ex striker manager don't fancy you..

Interesting comments from Wigan Today on the most contentious moments in the match:

Is the luck turning? As Cardiff boss Neil Harris pointed out after the game, Latics were undoubtedly on the receiving end against Middlesbrough last midweek, but there was no question they came out the right end of all John Brook's big calls. On another day, Lee Evans could have been red-carded in the first minute, Latics were awarded a penalty for handball before escaping a similar call at the other end. And the stoppage-time call to disallow a scrambled winner, for a supposed foul on David Marshall, was generous to say the least. Paul Cook will feel that rub of the green has been long overdue, and for once the late drama went with his side. Fingers crossed that continues.
