Eighteen months ago, I would have said the idea that no one would come in for Neil Warnock considering what he had achieved at Rotherham and Cardiff would be unbelievable, but I think perceptions may have changed about him based on what he did in his last season and a bit here.

Maybe also that he has talked about another club as a way of gilding his record - not because he has something to offer. It comes across as a very selfish ambition (me me me) even if he might have the skills and attitude that a few clubs will need to escape the drop from whatever league. Still time for a panic appointment.

Maybe it's for another reason which I'm interested in hearing.
Perhaps the fact he wasn't considered for the role Steve Morison has been offered, if I was Bamba I'd feel I wasn't appreciated, he has publicly said his family love Cardiff as an area, before Harris landed he was doing a bit of a PR role ( think that's is where RB has sought his view ,which is all it is , a view , and I'd agree with that assumption )

Cheers. I wasn't aware of that. Now that makes sense. Actually I think I remember him down in the family stand before a game this season.

Maybe the focus has been on him playing and training since he's been fit? We don't really know what is happening with Bamba.

Of course his family love the area, what's not to love? Isn't a two-year contract at age 34 appreciation enough?

When he got it, yes, probably no now though if you asked him.

He was out of contract and almost 32 years old when we signed him. He's now under contract through his 36th birthday. I have a hard time seeing how he can feel under-appreciated.

I'm sure he did appreciate it at the time. Maybe not so much now he's down the pecking order and the writing is on the wall.

He's down the pecking order because he's 35 years old. And he's still got another 15 months on his contract. He should be feeling very pleased with himself. And very appreciative. Realistically, what more could he expect?
