    They will be in the driving seat if they score an away goal. Tactically, Simeone got it spot on against a superior team. If they went for a second goal, Liverpool would have shredded them on the counter attack.

    If last year's Champions League is anything to go by, the best games happen in the second leg. The first leg is about jockeying for position, and trying to gain an advantage.

    If they were playing Celta Vigo, they would have scored three. The point is, they never.

    Should Atletico roll over and make it easy for them so viewers can be entertained?
