Don't know if the first half was the same as the second, but it looked distinctly like we didn't give it a go. A bit of hunger and desire, essential for the way we play, wasn't there, not even from those who you'd always expect to be 'up for it'. Whether going onto the field without Tomlin was a big issue for the players - he's almost carried the side in recent months. Today they looked as if they knew they weren't going to create anything. Stoke, to a man, had more desire, were quicker to everything. I wonder what percentage of 50:50s they won?

End of season party next Saturday if we don't pick up a bare minimum of 4 points next week.

Maybe we could take Paterson off, move Murphy into the middle and bring on Junior. We definitely need to change something. Starting with theese ****ing long throws. Jesus ****ing Christ. What a waste.

Said it all season that if Tomlin wasn't playing we needed to play Murphy or Whyte NOT Paterson in that role.

Getting more and more like Slade in that if Plan A doesn't work Harris is unable to work out a Plan B or C.

Smithies doesn't deserve a 6. 5 at best. I think I'd give him a 4. All over the place for both goals. Failed to command the 6-yard box all game.
