Thread: Has Steve Morrison retained his playing registration?

Has Steve Morrison retained his playing registration?

A Freudian slip by me on an earlier post led me to start thinking that could we do any worse than having Steve Morrison up top. I think he was playing till this season. May be slow, but a clever footballer who could bring other players in to the game.
Better than what we've got anyway!

He has been spotted in training , scored a hat trick recently , probaly got 15 minutes in him .

    I'd try Flynn up front?

    Phew this Sherry is strong.

Bit tongue in cheek, but do you remember Bob Hatton. Must have been 50 when he came here . Saved us that season.

When I saw that he had joined the club, I initially thought that it was on a playing basis! That is how low my expectations have got! lol

    I remember that season.

I just checked. He played one season for us and was 35 years old, scoring 9 goals in 30 games.

    Decent.
