    O/T Radio reception in car

Don’t know if someone can help - About a week ago ( when we had all the storms ) my AM radio reception has gone to non-existanat FM is fine.

    It’s a 2013 car so no DAB.

Any ideas? I presume perhaps some water has got in somewhere but I have no idea where to start looking.

    Car is a Nissan Qashqai

    Thanks

I had the same thing last year, the aerial lead had become slightly disconnected 👍

I have had a similar problem recently. Suddenly lost DAB, but had all FM stations.

The problem was a bad grounding where the booster aerial is.

Find out were the aerial is on the Qashqai through Google and go from there. It's very likely that all it'll take is a bit of tightening or a bit of contact cleaner and and 120 grit sandpaper.

Had a similar thing with my old golf, there was some electronics in the base of the antena on the roof which eventually got damaged by water. It was a PITA replacing as I had to take the headlining down, hope yours is an easier fix.

Just a thought, has it come off the station?

No, I use the "station scanner" and it picks up no stations at all.

I have a Nissan and this happened to me the other day.
Just needed to screw the ariel in a bit, it had worked itself loose.
