    If we all knew that he was so injury prone (I have a mate who supports Birmingham City who said that he never played) how come the club didn’t and therefore consider the risk?

    Or is this something to do with us signing players due to who their agent is?

    He was a shit option because of his injury record.

    How many injury prone footballers actually spend years later in their careers without injury? I'd be surprised if clubs don't have data on such things.

    Terminate the contract/ pay him off and get rid of him. The sight of the same bloke injured around the training ground, particularly such an average player would seriously grate on me if I was a coach.

    That was my first instinct but I guess he is cheap relative to a championship striker. When you see Jarrod bowen going for 20M plus, mcburnie for 18M etc

    If you haven't got big money you need to look for promising players in the lower leagues. Ollie Watkins cost Brentford £1.8 million. Of course you need a competent scouting system to do that....
